![]() Wherever you have an idea for what you want or would like someone to guide you in the right direction she's your girl. She does it all and is amazing at everything she does. Product recommendations, makeup, hair, skin, nails, events (Weddings etc). I see Ashley Rison for all my beauty needs. At same time would not recommend Ziyan Salon or either of them if they were not stellar. I may be impartial to some degree as my Mother & Sister-in-Law work here and have for a lifetime it seems. ![]() I'm not happy that I paid $70 for an hour of pain instead of relaxation. I feel like my requests went in one ear and out the other. For people like me who have anxiety and it's hard to get the courage to say something, I would've appreciated her stopping to ask if the pressure was ok or not (to give me an out). I mentioned it at least three times that I didn't want deep tissue, yet that's what I received. It was very painful the point that I felt like I might bruise. ![]() She went softer, but then deep tissue again for the rest of the massage. She kept on with the deep tissue until I had to stop her again (I flinched, she asked if I was ok and I told her that I was tender and to go easier). However, it got to the point where I had to say something because it was very painful. I am a very polite person and hate confrontation as it gives me anxiety. I let it go on for a few minutes before saying something. We get started, and she starts off really rough (deep tissue). I reinforced that I wanted medium and wanted to be able to relax. She said she normally does hard pressure/deep tissue. Before it started, I let her know that I wanted medium pressure. She enjoyed her massage because the person doing it did it as requested (medium pressure). Let me start by saying that the environment was very calming and nice. I booked a couples massage as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. Very happy with how they resolved the issue. She was phenomenal and the massage was great. The manager was able to book me another massage at no cost (This time with Keisha - I hope I spelled it right). Also why do you keep a cancellation list as well? So if you are going to put a response put an honest one please or don’t respond. Or you would have someone confirm appointments for them so their book was accurate. If a 48 hour notice was required we would get text notices two days before not one day! That’s when you get them FYI. Very inappropriate and unprofessional to say the least considering I contacted them early before any appointments. I find the front desk telling me they were disgruntled about me having to reschedule poor service!! So spending $100 plus every time I go wasn’t good enough. I have only been a customer with them since 2012 and I have driven from NC at times to go there. So this would have been the third today however, I had to be approved to go by them. My second I was still at work and could not go. Well to be honest the front desk messed up my first appointment if we are being honest!! My correct appointment I rescheduled because I was ill. When I called to reschedule today due to the weather we incurred since 3:59 this morning I was told by the front desk that they were annoyed I was rescheduling again. They also had some really great discounts on products in the lobby, so I bought some dry shampoo. We enjoyed the robes they provided for use between services. I felt amazing after my facial with Karina and my massage with Yulia. Our services were great- very relaxing and rejuvenating. We still enjoyed having a place to hang out though! It had a couple of couches and a table, but no windows, so it was a little dim and dreary. The rest of the salon was bright and pretty and new and well-decorated, but the quiet room was really reminiscent of my friends’ parents’ basements in high school. The day of our appointment, we showed up with food and drinks, and set up in the quiet room. The salon was able to accommodate our group very easily, and offered us the quiet room to hang out between our services. There were 5 of us, and we each got a combination of facials, massage, or pedicures. This year, we decided to try somewhere more affordable, so we booked at Ziyan. Last year, my friends and I had a spa day at a really expensive and luxurious salon.
